Dr. Fjorda Kazazi was awarded an official certificate by Rreze Drite School in recognition of Excellence in Online Teaching and Digital Innovation for her outstanding contribution to the development and implementation of the SOLAR platform during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When schools worldwide faced sudden closure and the urgent need to move teaching online, the SOLAR platform was developed and deployed to support the rapid transition to remote learning. The platform enabled teachers and students to continue structured teaching and learning activities at a time of profound educational disruption—helping maintain continuity, engagement, and access to instruction across classes when in-person delivery was no longer possible.
This award recognises a practical, high-impact contribution to digital education: designing and delivering technology that sustained educational delivery, supported remote learners, and demonstrated how innovation can respond effectively to crisis conditions. The work reflects early leadership in educational technology and online pedagogy—skills that remain central to Dr. Kazazi's broader research and professional profile in immersive learning, HCI, and technology-enhanced education.
